Abstract

Attempt of an intercontinental correlation on a geological-paleontological basis, at the same time a critique of the "Correlation of the Far Eastern Pleistocene chronological Units" presented by T. SHIKAMA (Japan) to the VIth INQUA Congress in Warsaw (1961) for discussion, with a comparative overview of the chronological position of the Middle Pleistocene Hominoidea finds of the East Asian and European regions.
